  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams, actively participating in sprint planning, estimation, execution, dependency coordination, and release planning.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Drive technical excellence through active participation in code reviews and design reviews, mentoring junior engineers, establishing engineering standards, and providing technical influence across team boundaries.
  • Utilize modern Android development tools and frameworks including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Android Jetpack libraries, Gradle, and REST APIs.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and implement modern Android architecture patterns.

  • Exceptional ability to articulate technical decisions, alternatives, risks, and tradeoffs clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience operating within a SAFe or Agile Release Train environment, including active participation in PI planning, dependency tracking, and cross-team release coordination.
  • Prior experience in regulated, security-conscious, financial-services, or other high-availability environments.
  • Production experience leveraging feature flags, staged rollouts, experimentation, kill switches, analytics, crash reporting, logging, and performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity and experience with modular Android application development, CI/CD pipelines, build optimization, release automation, and comprehensive automated testing strategies.
  • Demonstrated responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools for tasks such as code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, or design exploration, with a strong emphasis on appropriate human validation.
